Frank Sargeson House Open Day

07 October 2012 - 2 pm to 4 pm

Frank Sargeson was well known as a mentor to other writers. Hear writer Graeme Lay talk about what it was like to have Frank look over your work. Today writers still receive support in his name through the annual Buddle findlay Sargeson Fellowship.

This restored historic home is the country's oldest literary museum, where Sargeson lived and wrote from the 1940s until his death in 1982.

It will be open to the public by the Sargeson Trust as part of the Auckland Heritage Festival.

Where: 14a Esmonde Road, Takapuna, North Shore, Auckland

Parking: Eldon Street
