Hazel completed this book during her residency in 2025. It was entered into NZ Mountain Film and Book Festival 2025 book competition. The festival theme was ‘Adventure Sports and Lifestyles.’ Hazel received an acknowledgment of Highly Commended from the Chief Judge in the festival’s mountain book competition.
