Late Spring Residency (1)
377 377 Michael King Writers Centre

Mark Broatch is the author of several non-fiction books, short fiction and poetry. He was deputy editor at the NZ Listener and culture editor at the Sunday Star-Times, and a recipient of a Buddle Findlay Sargeson Fellowship in 2011. He has just launched his latest book Word to the Wise: Untangling the Mix-Ups, Misuse & Myths of Language.

We have welcomed Mark to his two week residency and he is all set to focus on the final draft of his latest work: a contemporary novel that has at its centre an exploration of modern relationships and male friendship.

This will be our tenth residency for the year.
