Philip is a writer and community publishing advocate from the Coast Salish region of North America.  His first novel, Electric Love (2016) explores an activist’s attempt to shut down the Internet.  Following that, he published a collection of short stories about relationships entitled single (2017).  More recently, he helped facilitate the publication of two community writing anthologies, Rubble Riot Chaos Brain (2019) and Quaranthology (2021), while living in Dumfries, Scotland on a US-UK Fulbright award.  In 2022, he visited Aotearoa New Zealand (including a stay at the Michael King Writers Centre) for the first time and fell in love with the beautiful place, fascinating people and rich literary culture.  When not working on his next novel or community publication, he blogs.
