Rosetta, our sixth writer-in-residence for the year, spent her formative writing years developing strengths in poetry, receiving the Kathleen Grattan Poetry and the Metonymy Poetry Awards. Rosetta is a mentor, teacher, manuscript assessor, essayist, and public speaker. She is the author of two volumes of poetry Little Rock (2007) and Over Lunch (2010), and three novels released by Penguin Random House NZ, Purgatory (2014), The Unreliable People (2019), and Crazy Love (2021). Rosetta currently serves on the board of the Crystal Arts Trust.
Rosetta is working on her fourth novel during her residency this year. Her second novel, The Unreliable People (2019) was the project she worked on when she held a MKWC residency in 2018.
