I was in the same class as Michael at St. Pat’s, Silverstream, all the way through to the 6th form.
I recall once in the 4th form we were given essays to write in our English class for homework and to be presented the next day. Michael did it differently.While everybody else did the usual prose, Michael’s was a multi-page poem which our instructor, Fr. Delaney, read to the rest of us. We were all duly impressed.
